Pregnancy Conception Calculator

You should find this pregnancy conception calculator or due date calculator extremely useful. What is one of the first things you want to know when you find out that you are pregnant? Well, usually you want to know straight away when your baby is due because then you have a date to work towards.

I thought it would be good to include a pregnancy conception calculator as well being able to calculate your due date because many women like to get an idea of when they conceived their baby.

This due date calculator also gives you two other important dates – the end of your first trimester and the end of your second trimester.

Knowing when the end of your first trimester falls will give you a shorter-term date to work towards. It’s always a relief when you reach this date because once you are out of your first trimester there is statistically less chance that something will go wrong. Many women heave a sigh of relief at this crucial point.

Having in mind when your second trimester ends is also helpful. The fact that the pregnancy conception calculator includes this means you have another short-term date to look forward to, and once you have reached it you know that you are on the home straight as it were.

Using this pregnancy conception calculator/due date calculator to break up your pregnancy into trimesters should help you to keep a positive view and also may help you to get organised and make sure you have achieved everything you want to before your baby arrives, or before you get to the point where mobility isn’t quite so easy.

Once you know what dates you are aiming for, your pregnancy will probably fly by. Remember, though, that this calculator will give you your initial date, based on the information you know. When you have your 12 week scan, they will measure your baby and may amend your due date according to how big your baby is.

When this happens, the new due date they give you will be the one to go by, so your dates for the ends of the trimesters will be revised too.

The thing to remember, though, is that even if you have used a pregnancy conception calculator or due date calculator, or if the sonographer has given you a new due date at your scan, your baby will come when he or she is ready. Many women don’t actually give birth on their given due date. So it’s just an approximate to work towards.
